From crossbreads to collies, this Darlington rescue centre has so many pooches looking for a forever home.
We have found seven of the newest residents at Dogs Trust Darlington to brighten your weekend and perhaps find a new 'fur-ever' home.
Moss - Border Collie
Moss is keen for a quiet, adult-only home due to his sensitive nature.
He enjoys the company of other dogs and could potentially share a home with one. However, his new home should have a secure garden for him to play in.
Prospective owners should be ready to visit him multiple times to form a bond due to his shyness.
Ricky - Akita cross
Ricky is a playful and adventurous dog that needs an active family.
Currently, he is not comfortable with other dogs and should be the only dog in the household. Ricky is best suited to live with teenagers aged 15 and above and requires a secure garden to run around in.
Rosie - German Shepherd mix
Rosie, a 5-to-7-year-old German shepherd mix, enjoys human companionship and thrives as the only pet in the household.
She would do well in a household with teenagers and needs a secure outdoor space for quiet walks.
Luna - Tibetan Mastiff
Luna is described as gentle and shy, needing a patient family to help her adjust to new surroundings. She can live with other dogs and cats but would do best in an adult-only home.
Her new family should have a secure garden for her to play in.
Maggie - Lurcher
Maggie, a lurcher, is fun-loving and energetic, enjoying play but preferring to be the only pet due to her selective nature.
She needs a quiet, adult-only home with a secure outdoor space.
Greg - Crossbreed
A 5-to-7-year-old crossbreed, Greg prefers calm, predictable environments without children or other pets.
He bonds well with people after building trust and enjoys playing with toys and receiving treats.
Scamp - Bulldog
Scamp, a young Bulldog, is lively and loves human company.
He should be the only dog for now as he improves his social skills and is best suited to a family with older children aged 15 and above.
All potential owners of these lovely dogs are urged to contact Dogs Trust Darlington for more information on adopting these dogs.
