A house which was the scene of a shocking gas explosion earlier this year has been put up for auction.
In June, Kirkland Walk, Middlesbrough, was shaken by a gas explosion which destroyed a two-bedroom semi-detached house, and damaged surrounding properties.
Last month, a trial date was set for Andrew McCubin, 57 accused of arson after the explosion, in which he was injured.
McCubin had to be pulled from the rubble by neighbours and airlifted to hospital following the blast at Kirkland Walk in Middlesbrough on 18 June.
He was charged with arson reckless to endanger life in connection with the explosion, as well as two charges of assault on an emergency worker.

Now, the plot of land on Kirkland Walk is up for sale with the company Resi.Auction. After the blast, the house had to be razed to the ground due to severe structural damage, and the catalogue says the area is now ripe for "redevelopment".
The property will be up for auction as lot 39, on Wednesday, October 30. The guide price is over £10,000.
The property catalogue says: "Previously a two bedroom semi-detached house. Due to a gas explosion the property has now been demolished, now a cleared site ready for redevelopment. Tenure: Freehold."
