Detectives investigating a reported rape in Newcastle have released the image of a man they would like to speak with.
The incident took place after an 18-year-old woman met a man while on a night out in the city centre on Saturday, April 27.
Between 1am and 1.30am the following morning, while still in the centre, the man is reported to have raped the woman.
Northumbria Police said "extensive enquiries" have been carried out since the incident, and have now released an image of a man officers would like to speak to.
He was in the area at the time the alleged rape is reported to have taken place.
