Police are looking to speak to these people after a teenage boy and girl made threats of violence and then assaulted a train guard in Darlington earlier this year.

Pictures have been released by the British Transport Police of people in connection with an investigation where a train guard was assaulted between Darlington and Dinsdale.

(Image: BRITISH TRANSPORT POLICE) A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers investigating an assault on board a train between Darlington and Dinsdale are today releasing these images in connection.

"At around 12.45pm on Friday 23 August, a teenage boy and girl made verbal threats towards a female train guard. The boy threatened her with violence before the girl assaulted her.

"Officers would like to speak to the people pictured as they believe they may have information which could help with their investigation.
