A popular pizza chain is set to open a new store in Teesside this month which will create 30 new jobs for the area.

Domino's will officially open a new Coulby Newham store, located on Hamsterley Way, on Monday, October 28.

The takeaway will be open seven days a week from 11am until 11pm, and will create 30 new jobs for the area.

Scott Stephenson, regional manager of the store, said: "We’re excited to come to Coulby Newham, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.

"The new store marks our third in the Middlesbrough area and means that we can now deliver to over 6,000 new postcodes, including Great Ayton and Stokesley.

"We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Coulby Newham can grow and develop their careers.

"Over 90 per cent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone."

To celebrate the opening, the store will be giving out free pizza through their Facebook page for those who sign up.

On opening day, the first 30 people to enter the store on the morning will also receive a golden ticket which they can exchange for a free large pizza.

The new store will serve fresh pizza "hand made with fresh dough, vine-ripened tomato sauce and always 100 per cent mozzarella" according to a Domino's spokesperson.
