A popular maze on a County Durham farm is set to undergo a 'spook-tacular' transformation for Halloween.
The Maize Maze at Thorpe Farm Centre near Barnard Castle, which has been a favourite for families during summer months, has undergone a haunting makeover with a Halloween theme to spook families from October 7 to October 31.
The maze will feature spooky Halloween decorations and activities, with a prize draw for all visitors.
Harvey Barkes, of Thorpe Farm Centre, said: "We’ve been looking forward to dressing up the maze for Halloween, with skeletons, scary surprises, pumpkins, and plenty more.
"Being a maze, expect ‘dead ends’ and twists and turns, but we promise we’ll make sure everyone gets out, in the end, and has fun while they make their way around.
"The Halloween Maize Maze makes a great fun family outing, right here in the North East.
"We’re just off the A66, so easy to get to, and we will be open for families to enjoy daily right up to Halloween.
"You’ll also be able to pick your pumpkin while you’re here."
