Customers have been left devastated following the sudden closure of a popular pub restaurant in one North East city centre.
The Goose, a pub carvery restaurant in Newcastle City Centre has suddenly closed its doors much to the dismay and confusion of customers.
The site, which was operated by the chain Stonehouse, was well known for its carvery dinners and pre-match day pints.
The reasoning for the closure is not yet known.
A short statement on the restaurant's website reads: "This restaurant is now closed. Unfortunately, this restaurant is now closed as a Stonehouse.
