A Durham pub has reopened after a month-long renovation, that saw it kitted out with a stage and sound system fit for live music performances.
The Three Bridges pub, located on Durham's North Road, shut in September as £250,000 renovation works got underway to "upgrade our facilities, aiming to enhance the customer experience".
The popular drinking hole will reopen this weekend with an "open weekend" for customers, with a new schedule of events to match their fresh interior.
Last month, the pub announced their comprehensive refurbishment would see the installation of "state of the art lighting", and the creation of a new stage area for live music performances.
The investment also features new seating areas, works on the beer garden to provide a "more comfortable and inviting atmosphere for locals", and a set of dartboards installed to boost the pub's sports offering.
Beginning this month, the pub will host a pub quiz every Monday night, and the pub will host a student night every Wednesday.
