A child is in hospital following an 'altercation' between students at a school amid reports that an air ambulance was called to the scene.
Emergency services were called to Northallerton School and Sixth Form in North Yorkshire at about 1.10pm, following reports of an incident at the school.
Police, ambulance and an air ambulance were reportedly called to the scene - with North Yorkshire Police confirming that a student was taken to hospital following the incident.
The student suffered minor injuries, but no further details have been provided at this time by North Yorkshire Police.

A spokesperson for the police force said: "Police were called to an altercation between students at Northallerton High School today (Friday, October 4, 2024) at 1.10pm.
"One student was conveyed to hospital with minor injuries.
"An investigation is underway."
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "Ambulance resources attended an incident at Northallerton School and Sixth Form on Friday afternoon and one patient was conveyed to hospital by road."
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service, Northallerton School and the Arete Trust have all been contacted for comment.
