Mediterranean fashion chain Mango has erected new signs at Teesside Park.

Earlier this year, the popular Spanish retailer confirmed it would be opening a new store in a section of Unit 21A, formerly home to H&M.

Mango is one of three firms set to open in the space - which was recently split into three separate units - alongside beauty brand Rituals and clothing chain White Stuff.

In recent weeks, both Rituals and White Stuff have erected new signs on their subjective storefronts, teasing the future openings.

Now, Mango has joined in, with the firm asking shoppers to "get ready" as it prepares to open the doors later this year.

The sign states: "Get ready, Mediterranean style and culture will arrive soon at Teesside Park."

It comes after PureGym this week confirmed it will be opening its new 24/7 gym, located inside the former Millennium nightclub, on November 1.

As previously reported, "architectural integration and sustainability" will be key in the design of Mango's 400 m2 store, which will be set up as a Mediterranean home with different rooms.

Warm tones and neutral colours will feature, alongside traditional, artisanal, sustainable and natural materials including ceramic, tuff, wood, marble, sparto grass, and leather.

Mango, which has been operating in the UK since 1999, currently has stores in the likes of Gateshead, Newcastle, and York.

The former H&M at Teesside Park has been closed since 2022 - with Frasers Group designer chain Tessuti then earmarked to take it over. However, this never came to fruition.

Frasers Group will instead soon be opening a huge new Sports Direct unit, and its other brand Flannels will be taking over the current home of the sporting store.

Catherine Furlong, centre director at Teesside Park, previously said: “We’re really excited to bring Mango to Teesside Park, and we know just how popular it will be with our style-conscious shoppers looking to update their wardrobe in line with the season.”
