Strictly Come Dancing odds: Thirsk's Tasha Ghouri second

The team at OLBG has revealed the latest Strictly Come Dancing odds and predictions, listing Tasha Ghouri, from Thirsk in North Yorkshire, as the second most likely to win the popular TV show. 

Despite only being in week two of the competition, bookmakers are tipping Tasha to go far in the contest - with her odds currently at 25 per cent. 

So far, Tasha and her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec have enjoyed impressive scores from Strictly judges.

The TV star's odds are only beaten by comedian Chris McCausland, who has emerged as the current favourite to win the trophy, holding odds of 11/8 and an implied probability chance of 42.1 per cent.

Meanwhile, British singer and TV presenter JB Gill now holds a 14.3 per cent probability of winning the competition, placing him as the third most likely contestant to take the title.

Jake Ashton, Entertainment Betting Expert at OLBG has commented on the latest odds for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, saying: "Chris McCausland, Strictly's first-ever blind contestant, has captured the hearts of viewers and impressed the judges with his standout performances alongside partner Dianne Buswell.

"His odds have tumbled down to 11/8, making him the current frontrunner to lift the Glitterball Trophy this season. McCausland's ability to deliver such polished routines in his first two weeks has clearly resonated with fans and experts alike, making him a strong contender.

“On the other end, we saw Olympic swimmer Tom Dean exit in a surprising result, after facing Toyah Willcox in the dance-off.

"Despite being 8/1 to leave on Saturday morning, Dean's tough slot kicking off the show may have worked against him, resulting in his elimination.

"Meanwhile, Toyah Willcox narrowly avoided elimination, but with a 42.1 per cent implied probability of being voted out next week, her time on the show could be running short. Still, viewers have already been surprised by the judges' decisions, so nothing is guaranteed."
