The family of a missing mum have appealed for her to get in contact.

Victoria Taylor's sisters, Emma Worden, Heidi Baker, and Chantelle Baker, along with step-sister Helen Moran and brothers Joe Taylor and Gavin Baker made a direct appeal to the 34-year-old over two days since she went missing from her home in Malton.

Emma said: "Vicky, just come home. We just want her home. She's got a little baby and her partner. We're just so worried."

"If anyone knows anything, just let us know."

"She's a very popular person. Obviously, she's a nurse and looked after so many people's parents round here."

Step-sister Helen said in a direct appeal: "You have a beautiful family waiting for you. So many worried friends and family."

A Facebook page 'The Search For Vixx' already has over 1,600 members.

Victoria who has a two-year-old daughter and works as a nurse in a nursing home, was last seen at around 9am on Monday at an address in Malton.

Underwater searches began in the River Derwent on Wednesday after some of her belongings were found on the riverbank.

North Yorkshire Police said there would be an "increased police presence" in the area.

Insp Leanne Anderson said: “There are a range of enquiries taking place to try and locate Victoria. This is still a missing person enquiry, and the focus of our activity is within the Malton and Norton area."

Worried friends and family have appealed for information in social media posts.

Kat Howard wrote: "We just want her back safe. Her family love her so much."

Victoria, who is originally from Huddersfield, is white, about 5ft 2ins tall and was wearing blue jeans, a black Adidas original puffa jacket with white stripes down the sleeves and a grey Jack Wills hooded jumper.
