Kevin Keegan’s former country residence, owned during his tenure as manager of Newcastle United football club, with a pool, tennis court and 5.4 acres of garden, remains up for sale.

The former home of the football legend is positioned within the Wynyard Park gated community in Billingham, Teesside and is surrounded by manicured gardens.

Despite going on the market earlier this year for £2.25m, it still appears to be online and remains up for sale.

Purchased by former Newcastle owner Sir John Hall in the 80s, Keegan took up residence in the property in 1992 when Hall appointed him as manager.
