Police were called to Teesside Park after an unknown item was left on a bench - but the object turned out to be a speaker.
Officers attended the popular shopping complex after receiving a call from security staff about an item that had been abandoned on a bench.
Cleveland Police located the item - which was believed to have been found just outside the Primark store - and identified it as a speaker that was not connected to anything.
The force confirmed that the item had been removed and booked into police property for safekeeping.
