A new kitchenware shop has opened in a popular North East shopping centre with 'goodie bags' on offer for the first customers this weekend.
ProCook officially opened its new shop in the Metrocentre's Green Mall today (September 27) and will be giving free goodie bags to the first 50 customers on Friday and Saturday.
The shop will have a "bright and airy" layout and will stock the full range of ProCook products, including tableware, barware, cast iron casserole dishes, and knife ranges.
The new small kitchen appliance range will also be available to buy from the shop.
Customers can also shop in-store and have their products delivered to their homes.
The new shop opening also coincides with ProCook's autumn sale, which will see customers able to get 20 per cent off all cookware and tableware, up to £30 off electricals, and discounts on select ranges.

Andy Kerr, ProCook retail director, said: "We’re thrilled to open our newest ProCook store at the renowned shopping destination Metrocentre.
"Our friendly team are ready and excited to introduce our in-store kitchenware ranges to keen home cooks from Gateshead and the wider area."
ProCook was founded 28 years ago, and has since built a brand that offers "something for everyone, with amazing value for money across its range".
The company also says it is built on a foundation of "exceptional customer service, with every aspect of the business revolving around the needs of its customers".
The new shop will be open from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm on Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
