Houses on a County Durham street less than 10 minutes away from a 'luxury' mansion are being auctioned off for only £5,000 each.
Two one-bedroom bungalows on Kimberley Street in Bishop Auckland are set to go under the hammer next month.
Kimberley Street is a 10-minute drive away from luxury mansion Tindale Towers, which was recently reduced in price from £2m to £1.4m.
Tindale Towers, on Dilks Street, was built as a four-storey family residence with no expenses spared and features a six-car garage, a cinema, a jacuzzi, a bar and a games room.
The properties on Kimberley Street, listed on Zoopla and being sold by Auction House London, are both vacant and have an estimated rental value of £4,706 per annum.

The first property is a mid-terrace bungalow, while the second is an end-terrace.
Both properties are located on a residential road close to local shops and amenities.
The open spaces of Auckland Park Play Area are also within easy reach and transport links are provided by Shildon rail station.
The properties are set to be sold by public auction on October 15, 2024.
The properties are freehold, and the legal documents for these properties can be inspected by downloading the legal pack from the auctioneer's website.
It follows an auction of three other bungalows on Kimberley Street on Tuesday which all had a guide price of £5,000 too.
All bungalows have the same floor plan and feature a bedroom and living room, with a kitchen and bathroom towards the rear of the house.
