A Hartlepool charity has been responding to a lot of concern about the number of people sleeping rough on the streets.
LilyAnne's Wellbeing is a Teesside charity that provides people with life-changing support when they need it most.
In a post on social media, they acknowledged problems with temporary housing and described working hard to create their "own accommodation".
When they get reports of a homeless person on the street they go out and chat with them to make sure they are alright.
There is currently a fundraiser going on to help buy tents for those sleeping rough.
A LilyAnne's Wellbeing spokesperson said: "Thanks to everyone who has alerted our out-of-hours team to concerns for a number of people sleeping on the streets this evening.
"We know there are difficulties with temporary accommodation at the moment and we are working hard create our own accommodation to support those rough sleeping.
"Until then we can go out and support people, chat with them and make sure they are ok.
"Tonight we’ve had very positive engagement with a number of homeless people who will be guided to support.
"We are fundraising at the moment to raise money to support those who don't have accommodation as the colder weather comes in and the nights get darker and colder.
