The full line-up for a popular Teesside day festival has been announced - and bosses promise it will be “bigger, bolder, and utterly unmissable”.
The Gathering Sounds Festival will be returning to Stockton this weekend (Saturday, September 28) following the “record-shattering” 2023 edition.
The town will once again be transformed into a pulsing hub of live music across multiple venues, including KU Bar, The Social Room, The Arc (Stockton Arts Centre), Arc2, The Storytellers, and The Georgian Theatre.
Leading the charge of this year’s lineup include Fat Dog, The Royston Club & SNAYX, with the event boasting 40 acts ready to “blow last year out of the water”.
This includes previously announced headliners Wings of Desire.
Each stage has been “expertly curated” by a top North East promoter, with a chance to listen to acts that are yet to explode onto the global stage.
This year’s event also features two new stages, Famous Last Words, and This Feeling, meaning even more fans can enjoy the event.
Alt-rock trio SNAYX, who have shared stages with international heavyweights like D-Boy, Kid Kapichi, and Nova Twins, will be leading the Famous Last Words stage.
Joining them are About Bunny, Komparrison, Erotic Secrets of Pompeii, Wingz of the Monkey, and Ocean Floor Still.
Meanwhile, over on the This Feeling stage, Chesterfield indie band The Crooks will perform, backed by The Sheratons, The Cavs, CRUZ, Dylan Robert, P∆VÉ, Strange Dimensions, and Hannah Robinson.
This marks the sixth edition of the popular festival, which has quickly become a cornerstone event for the region and draws music lovers from across the country.
