A second man has now been charged with murder in connection with the death of 26-year-old Lewis Bell, following an alleged stabbing incident.

Police were called to an incident on Hills Drive in Stockton in the early hours of Thursday, where Lewis Bell, 26, died at the scene. 

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said this evening (Monday): "Detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET) charged a 25-year-old man with murder and he is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday 24th September).

"Earlier today, a 17-year-old male was also charged with murder and was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday 23rd September.

"A third male, aged 19, has been bailed whilst enquiries continue and a further five people who had been arrested last week in connection with the murder investigation also remain on police bail."(Image: Cleveland Police)
