Thousands turned out for Newby Hall and Gardens' ever-popular Sports Cars in the Park event today (Sunday, September 22), with 700 luxury, vintage and rare vehicles rolling in to wow visitors.
The stunning grounds, near Ripon, played host to a wealth of cars, from Ferraris to Mustangs and everything in between, making for an event that was "one of the best yet."
Stalls of the extensive autojumble offered all sorts of motoring-related items including parts, tools, lubricants, car cleaning materials, toys, models and motor memorabilia were also a hit with visitors.
This is the last motoring event for 2024 at Newby Hall, but petrolheads should not fret, as their well-attended car shows will return next year, with one already pencilled in for Sunday, May 4.
Newby Hall & Gardens' commercial director Stuart Gill said: "It has been a brilliant day, with really good quality cars here today, and a great turnout.
"We have been blessed with dry weather, if a little bit cold, but what you could expect for September!
"We had 700 cars turn up here, and had an amazing selection of McLarens."
This is by no means the last event in this year's calendar at Newby Hall - next weekend, they will be hosting the International Apple Throwing Championships, which will see competitors from all over challenging to be the furthest to fling fruit.
In years previously, hundreds have turned out to pitch their fruits across the Ure - with only a select few apples from strong participants making it across the 35m width of the river.
