Thousands of people gathered for the annual Eggleston Show over the weekend.
The country event at Hayberries Farm, in Mickleton, marked the 148th year of the largest show of its kind in Teesdale.
There were a host of showings with sheep races and a parade of the winners, while visitors were able to enjoy local delicacies at the many stalls.
Competitions were held for all ages with animal classes, produce and arts and crafts, along with competitions for the children.
Show secretary Abigail Teward said: "The day went really well. All the caterers have said they had a brilliant day and have been extremely busy and most have sold out.
"They included The Crown in Mickleton and Fired and Sliced of Eggleston.
"The Teesdale Sheep Grand National, which started after the Grand Parade, raised £200 for Cancer Research UK.
"There were some brilliant bands on in the evening. There was a very successful sheepdog demonstration from Catherine Teward."
