Police have seized a large amount of cannabis plants found drying out in a former care home.

Redcar’s neighbourhood officers discovered the cannabis, which was being dried out, in a property on Newcomen Terrace in the town yesterday (Friday, September 20).

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Two men (aged 42 and 46) were arrested and questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a Class B drug.

"Both have been bailed while further enquiries take place.(Image: Cleveland Police)
