Officers investigating the disorder in Sunderland last month have issued a fresh appeal to the member of the public for help in identifying these people.

On the evening of Friday, August 2, police responded to reports of widespread disorder in the city centre.

An investigation was launched and officers have since made a number of arrests in connection with the incident – with a string of people charged, and 21 offenders convicted to date.

(Image: Northumbria Police) As part of their ongoing enquiries, police have today (Thursday) re-released previous images and new images of people who they would like to trace.

They are all believed to have been in the Sunderland city centre area around the time of the disorder and officers believe they could have information which may assist the investigation.

Those pictured, or anyone who recognises them, should send Northumbria Police a direct message on their social media channels, or use the live chat function on the Force website.
