Here are seven offenders who were sentenced at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ courts in the last week.
Their offences include handling stolen goods, possession of drugs, drunk and disorderly and driving whilst disqualified.
Emma Winter, of Hawes Crescent, Crook, pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified on June 16 when she was stopped on Elliott Street, Crook. The 30-year-old was fined £120 and her licence endorsed with six penalty points. She was also ordered to pay £48 for a victim surcharge.
Pamela Brown, of Browney Lane, Browney, Durham, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving without due care and attention when she was stopped near her home on February 26. The 69-year-old was fined £666 and had her licence endorsed with eight penalty points. She was also ordered to pay £349 in court costs.
Bobby Myers, of Adolphus Street, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention on the A19 near Dalton Park, Murton on February 21. The 39-year-old was fined £255, had his licence endorsed with three points and ordered to pay £187 in court costs.

Elle Burnside, of Calvert Way, Bedale, North Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and cannabis when she was arrested in Darlington on May 17 this year. The 20-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay £133 in court costs. The drugs were confiscated and a destruction order was imposed.
Ben Doyle, of HMP Durham, pleaded guilty to the same charges. The 22-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 in court costs. The drugs were confiscated and a destruction order was imposed.
Michael Jobes, of Station Road, Shotton Colliery, County Durham, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Shotton Colliery on September 16. The 36-year-old was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
Iain Boddy, of Princess Street, Shildon, pleaded guilty to three charges of handling stolen goods, a Mercedes E250, a Ford Transit van and a Ford Fiesta between August and November last year. The 42-year-old was sentenced to six months in custody suspended for eight months and ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
