A woman faced fines for speeding above the 70mph limit on the A1(M).
Amy Elizabeth Stanley, 40, of Turnpike Walk, Sedgefield, Durham, breached the speed limit while driving her Ford on March 3, 2024.
She exceeded the 70mph motorway limit, infringing the Motorways Traffic (Speed Limit) Regulations 1974 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and was caught by a speed camera.
Stanley pleaded guilty in the Single Justice Procedure on September 17, 2024, at Peterlee Magistrates' Court.
The court imposed a fine of £84, adding a surcharge for victim services of £33, and costs totalling £90.

The court's decision factored in Stanley's guilty plea, leading to her driving record being endorsed with three points but no license suspension.
The notification of Stanley's speeding conviction was sent to the DVLA, with the expectation of payment by October 15, 2024.
An order for collection of the fine was also made.
