Three people have been convicted of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a man was left paralysed when he fell from a window.
Samantha Nunn, her boyfriend Kallum Shilham, and Andrew Hobson were caught on Ring doorbell footage using weapons to smash their way into a house intent on violence, a jury heard.
Their 20-year-old victim was left requiring round-the-clock care after he suffered serious head injuries and a broken neck while trying to flee the armed gang.
Teesside Crown Court heard how the three defendants, and another unidentified person, descended on a house in Thornaby armed with knives and a pool cue with the intention of ‘taxing’ an alleged drug dealer.
The harrowing footage of the man falling from the window was played to the jury during the trial.
Jurors heard Nunn screaming encouragement and directions at the three males while they were captured smashing windows to gain entry before fleeing the scene after he fell from the house on Parkfield Way, Stockton.
The court heard how the three men – including Hobson and Shilham - entered the house, wearing balaclavas and armed with a pool cue and machete.
Paul Rooney, prosecuting, had said: “Part of his body made contact with a wheelie bin; the impact with the ground caused immediate catastrophic injuries.
“He can be heard saying ‘help me’ before losing consciousness.”

Nunn, 33, of Sandringham Road, Thornaby, was convicted of aggravated burglary and causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Jurors heard she has admitted a lesser charge of causing grievous bodily harm without intent.
Her boyfriend, 24-year-old Shilham, of Harrowgate Lane, Stockton, had denied the same charges but was convicted. He had also admitted the lesser charge and pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article.
The third defendant, 45-year-old Hobson, of Sun Gardens, Thornaby, had denied both charges and also denied the possession of an offensive weapon - a pool cue, but was convicted of all charges.
They are expected to be sentenced in November.
