A teenage boy and a man have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed.
The injured man suffered serious stab wounds to his arm and stomach on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services were called Kingsley Close in Grangetown at 7.15pm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and Cleveland Police launched an investigation.
A force spokesperson said: “Detectives are appealing for information after a man was injured following a reported assault in the Grangetown area.
“Officers and colleagues from the ambulance service were called to at around 7.15pm on Tuesday 17th September.
“A man suffered significant stab wounds to his arm and stomach and he was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Two males, aged 16 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and they currently remain in police custody at this time.”
