A quadbike, fishing equipment and garden tools have all been stolen from a shed after a burglary in Darlington.

The incident took place on either September 1 or September 2 at a home on Elvet Place.

It is thought that the suspect broke into the shed and stole a number of items.

The police are appealing for information or anyone who has seen the stolen property.

A Darlington Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for information following a shed burglary in Darlington.

"The incident occurred sometime between September1 and September 2 at an address on Elvet Place.

"It is believed the suspect broke into the shed and stole a quadbike, fishing equipment and garden tools (pictured).

"Anyone with information regarding the incident or who has seen the stolen property is asked to contact adam.gibson1@durham.police.uk quoting crime reference number CRI00568020."
