A man found dead in a County Durham sign factory is that of a member of staff, it has been confirmed.
The Health and Safety Executive said it was investigating the death of an employee of Interplan Sign Systems Ltd in Consett after a body was discovered there last month.
Durham Constabulary said officers had been called to the factory on Hownsgill Drive after a man in his 40s was found dead.

His death is being treated as unexpected and a joint investigation continues.
A HSE spokesperson said: “We are jointly investigating along with Durham Constabulary into the death of an employee at Interplan Sign Systems Ltd, Consett.”
The Northern Echo has contacted Interplan Sign Systems for comment.
