A North Yorkshire pub is set to be auctioned off with a guide price of £139,500.

The Hollywell View Public House, located in Liverton Terrace, Liverton, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, is up for grabs along with an adjoining mid-terrace house and an old post office with a first-floor flat.

The estate agents, Pattinsons, have listed the properties for auction via secure sale online bidding.

The pub comprises a lounge and bar with W.C. facilities, and has access to the adjoining house, while the house consists of a lounge, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a box room.

The properties are located in Liverton Mines, a village in Redcar & Cleveland, North Yorkshire.

The village is surrounded by the large towns of Middlesbrough, Redcar, Guisborough, and Whitby.

Liverton Mines has a shop, post office, fish and chip shop, church, garage, and a pub.

The village was once an important iron stone mining area, providing the iron ore for the steel industry in Middlesbrough.

The Hollywell View pub overlooks the main road going through the village, leading from Liverton Mines to Liverton and then onwards to the Whitby Moors road.

The village is accessed via Loftus High Street from one direction, with an alternative access off the Moors road.

The current rateable values, as of April 1, 2023, are £1,250 for the pub and £3,450 for the post office.

Pattinsons are awaiting copies of the energy performance certificates for the properties.
