A new flight to Switzerland from Teesside Airport has been announced, with the one-off trip set to depart in 2025.

Holidaymakers can book a seven-night trip in June 2025 to the Alpine destination, known for its lakes and mountains.

This charter is the only summer flight to Zurich from the North East.

It provides an opportunity to experience some of the world's most incredible railway journeys, including the Luzern-Interlaken Express, Bernina Express, and the Glacier Express.

Fairs-Lloyds Travel is offering the package, with two guided travel itineraries from June 20 and direct return flights from Teesside to Zurich.

The first option includes a trip on the Luzern-Interlaken Express and a day trip to Lucerne and Brunnen, complete with a lake cruise and a visit to Mt Rigi.

The second option features the Glacier Express from Filisur to Andermatt, a day trip to St Moritz, and travel on the Bernina Express.
