It is set to be a sunny autumnal day in Darlington and across the North East today as the Met Office predicts blue skies and temperatures nearing 20C.
Temperatures are still remaining high and will reach a peak of 19C today as forecasters predict a wholly sunny day with little to no chance of rain.
Today, temperatures will reach a high of 17C by 4pm this afternoon, and drop to a low of 9C by evening.
Light wind is also forecast throughout the day but will only reach a high of 12mph, with the sun due to set at 7:19pm.
Following a dry start to the week, the forecaster has also stated that “mist and fog patches” are possible from Wednesday to the end of the week.
