Police are treating the death of a man whose body was found in a Consett factory as ‘unexpected’.
Officers were called to the Interplan Sign Systems factory on Hownsgill Drive in Consett where they found the body of a man in his 40s.
His death is being treated as unexpected, Durham Constabulary said.
A joint investigation involving police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is now underway.
The Northern Echo has contacted HSE and Interplan Sign Systems for comment.
