An award-winning County Durham business has been sold less than two months after being placed on the market.
Wing and a Prayer, an artisan store stocking goods from independent traders, was put up for sale by owner Lisa McDonnell in July as she sought a new 'adventure'.
But now, a new owner of the store has been revealed as Ms McDonnell made an announcement on social media.
In a post on the business's Facebook on Thursday, Ms McDonnell said: "I am absolutely delighted to announce that from Monday 30th September Wing and a Prayer will be under NEW OWNERSHIP.
"What makes me so happy is that the ethos of the shop will carry on, being run by Susan Robinson herself a local lady from Coxhoe with family and friends living here in the village.

"I know you the shop customers will continue with the amazing support that you have given myself and the makers over the nearly six years since the shop first opened.
Ms Robinson will be joining Ms McDonnell in the store from Tuesday until the final day of Ms McDonnell's ownership on September 29.
"Welcome Susan, I know you will be taking Wing and a Prayer on your own journey and I wish you all the luck in the world," Ms McDonnell said.
Wing and a Prayer, situated on the High Street in Coxhoe, has won Small Business Winner 2020, and was a finalist for Small Entrepreneur of the Year in 2022 and Retail Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.
When the business was put on the market, Lisa McDonnell said: "The success of Wing and a Prayer has given me the confidence to consider the next ‘adventure’.
"Adapting to the limitations imposed by Covid allowed the shop to not only survive and prosper but continue to grow and expand.
"It has achieved far more than I could have originally hoped for."
