One person was hospitalised last night after an air ambulance was called to an incident at a private address in Newton Aycliffe.
The North East Ambulance Service and Great North Air Ambulance Service attended the scene shortly after 17.45pm.
The person was taken to hospital by an ambulance.

A North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at a private address, last night (11 September) in Newton Aycliffe, shortly after 17:45pm.
"We dispatched one rapid response vehicle, one clinical team leader, one specialist paramedic, and one ambulance crew, and were supported by our colleagues at the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
"One patient was taken to hospital by road."
