A man has appeared in court charged with a catalogue of child sexual offences.
Vincent Hodgson is facing 19 charges including ones for rape, voyeurism and inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
The 64-year-old was not asked to enter a plea when he made a brief appearance at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court.
Due to the serious nature of the allegation, Hodgson’s case was sent to Durham Crown Court where he will appear next month.
