An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who failed to turn up at court after he was charged with rape and sexual assault.
Giuseppe Lamb was expected to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court following the allegations dating back to January 2022.

The 24-year-old, of Brancepeth Close, Newton Hall, County, Durham, is accused of carrying out the offences in the County Durham area on January 26, 2022.
Dr David Shallow, the chairman of the bench, issued the warrant after the defendant failed to attend court.
