30 fundraisers have set off on a 2,000-mile journey to St Tropez to raise money for Teesside Hospice.
The drivers, representing various local businesses and communities, started their trip on Monday (September 9), from Teesside Hospice.
They will be travelling across Europe for a week as part of the Rallye Du Soleil to raise funds for the hospice's palliative care services.
The rally, sponsored by Ramsdens Currency, will take the drivers through a variety of landscapes and roads before reaching the French Riviera destination of St Tropez.
Julie Burniston, Teesside Hospice’s head of corporate development, said: "We are incredibly proud of everyone taking part in the Rallye Du Soleil.
"The driver’s dedication to fundraising and the adventure ahead is truly inspiring.
"We wish them all the best as they embark on this incredible journey, and we encourage everyone to continue supporting them by sponsoring their efforts."

Teesside Hospice has been providing care and support since 1982, and requires £6 million each year to continue offering services such as pain management, emotional support, and end-of-life care.
The fundraising page for those taking part in the rally is still open on Just Giving, even though the drive is underway, for anyone who wishes to add to the fundraising effort.
So far the drivers have raised just over £14,350 of their £30,000 target, with the fundraising page open until the end of the year.
The hospice promises that every pound raised will be in aid of care services provided by Teesside Hospice for those with life-limiting illnesses.
