Police are searching for a missing teenage girl last seen eight days ago.

Officers are becoming increasing concerned for the welfare of Courtney, who was last seen in Langley Park on Sunday, September 1. 

The 15-year-old - who is described as around 5ft 6inches tall, with long straight brown hair, and glasses - was last seen wearing black shorts, a brown jacket and white trainers.

Courtney has links to both Darlington and Hartlepool. 

Durham Constabulary said: "Have you seen Courtney?

"We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of the 15-year-old who was last seen in Langley Park on Sunday, September 1.

"Courtney is around 5ft 6inches tall, with long straight brown hair, and glasses. She was last seen wearing black shorts, a brown jacket and white trainers.

"She has links to Darlington and Hartlepool.

"If you have seen her, or know where she is, please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 325 of September 1."
