There is major rail disruption on the East Coast Mainline after a person was hit by a train between Darlington and Thirsk.
All lines have been closed as emergency services deal with the incident.
An LNER spokesperson said: "It is with great sadness that we report that the lines at #Northallerton are blocked due to a person being hit by a train.
"Please bear with us, We will update the website once we have any updates."

Services between Darlington/Middlesbrough/Sunderland and York are currently unable to operate.
CrossCountry customers have been that some services may be revised to start/terminate at Newcastle or York.
Rail replacement transport services are in operation between Newcastle and York via Darlington and Durham in both directions.
