A major housing developer is set to hold an information event to give advice and guidance to house hunters in County Durham.

Miller Homes is holding an information event for house hunters in County Durham on 21 and 22 September.

The information event, based at the development site at Fellside Gardens, Delves Lane, Consett, will take place from 10.30am to 5.30pm each day.

Independent advisors, in addition to Miller Homes staff, will be on hand to provide advice and guidance to prospective buyers interested in any one of the 288 three-to-five-bedroom properties available at the Miller Homes site.

Many of these properties incorporate high specification energy saving features such as electric vehicle charging points, waste water heat recovery systems, and solar PV diverters which divert excess electricity to the hot water cylinder.

And from offering up to five percent of the purchase price towards a customer’s deposit on a new build home, to Miller’s Own New scheme which offers a mortgage rate reduction, Miller Homes is encouraging first time home buyers to attend their event.

For existing homeowners reluctant to face the task of selling their property, Miller’s Part Exchange and Assisted Move schemes mean that Miller takes on the paperwork and cost of selling including managing the independent valuation and marketing of the property.

Sales Director Lauren Angus said: “Buying a new build home has never been easier or more affordable and we very much hope potential buyers will come along and find out why.”

And if that’s not enough to tempt you, there will be a waffle van on site offering free snacks to those who attend.

Whilst there is no need to book an appointment, those interested in looking for more details can visit the Miller Homes website.
