Police are hunting a man who allegedly lifted a 12-year-old girl’s dress before taking a picture and running off.
An image of the suspect has been released to help officers track him down following the report of sexual assault in South Tyneside.
It was reported that a man had approached two girls in the Masefield Drive area of Biddick Hall between 8.45pm and 9pm on Thursday, August 29.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “The offender has then proceeded to lift up one of the girl’s dresses and take a photograph, before fleeing the area on foot.
“The girl – aged 12 – was left shaken by the incident which was later reported to police.
