Festivalgoers will be able to get a later last train home from Darlington’s Last Train Home festival this weekend.
The popular live music and comedy event supporting the support of grassroots artists is celebrating its seventh year.
Five stages across Darlington will play host to performers on Saturday.
And for attendees wanting to get the last train home from the festival of the same name, a later train has been put on to Bishop Auckland.
A later service leaving Darlington at 9.56pm, and arriving at Bishop Auckland at 10.20pm has been added for this weekend.
The train will then turn around at 10.25pm heading back to Darlington at 10.59pm.
The Bishop Line Community Rail Partnership announced the extra service in a post on Facebook.

It said: “We've been working with Tracks and Northern Trains to help people get back from the Last Train Home Festival to Bishop Auckland.
“There will be an additional train service running from Darlington station leaving at 21:56 and arriving at Bishop Auckland at 22:20.”
However, events on some stages will run too late for festivalgoers to make the last train.
