A big-name brand has announced that it is now allowing dogs inside all of its stores across the UK, including here in the North East.
The Range, which operates over 200 stores across the whole of the UK and 10 in the North East, revealed on Wednesday (September 4), amid other brands doing the same.
The change in rules now means that your four-legged friends can accompany you in any of the stores run by The Range.
In a post on social media, they said: "We have some pawsome news to share... Our stores are now DOG FRIENDLY.
"That's right, we're now welcoming four-legged furry shoppers in our 200+ stores nationwide and perfect timing!
"Our Pet Event is on in-stores today for you to ‘fetch’ incredible deals across pet supplies! RUN, do not walk!"
While the rule now means dogs could be wandering around The Range shops, the brand has set out some ground rules for pet owners who do choose to take their pooches to the shop.
These include:
- Dogs must be on a lead at all times while inside a store
- Well-behaved dogs only! Owners are responsible for their dogs' behaviour and must ensure that they are well-behaved, and do not disturb other customers
- Owners must clean up after their dog if necessary, and be mindful of their surroundings "
