The North East biggest ‘scream park’ will open its doors to more brave visitors later this month.

Psycho Path at Lintz Hall Farm in Burnopfield is gearing up for another season of terrifying frights with a host of new attractions set to scare guests.

The event has previously been named among the best in the UK and will run from the end of September through to Halloween itself.

Set in the County Durham countryside the huge event sees organisers build mazes and scare attractions with actors, sets and animatronics to frighten visitors.

This year's new attractions include ‘Dolls House – The Factory’ which bosses described as a “malevolent maze which will take visitors to a horrifying production line”, and ‘Vandalised” where those who take part will find themselves “in a scary hostage situation”. Meanwhile ‘Mind Control’ gives a “deeply disturbing, discombobulating and terrifying experience the likes of which we’ve never subjected anyone to before”, organisers say.

Popular attractions returning from previous years include ‘I Scream’, ‘Cornered’, ‘Psycho City’, ‘The Hunt’, and ‘Crawl Space’.

Christiano Crawford from Pyscho Path said: “Every year we are determined to build on the success of the previous year and create new and unique attractions to make sure everyone has an incredible experience.

“We have gone all out this year and have three amazing – and terrifying – new experiences for those who are brave enough to try them out, as well as a new stage show, extended bar and so much more.

“We believe this is going to be absolutely unmissable.”
