A man has been charged with sexual assault and kidnap after an incident in Middlesbrough.
The 40-year-old man was charged after a report to police on Monday, September 2 on Lambton Road.
He has been remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, September 4.
There is not believed to be a wider threat to the community.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "A 40-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault and kidnap after a report of an incident on Monday 2nd September on Lambton Road, Middlesbrough.
"The man is remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 4th September.
"There have been no further reports of similar incidents and there is no wider threat to the community."
