A luxury car dealership in a “prime” industrial estate location has gone up for sale.

Stratstone Land Rover Stockton, on Preston Farm Industrial Estate, has hit the market with a staggering £5,870,000 price tag.

The listing describes the purpose-built Jaguar and Land Rover car showroom as an investment opportunity in a “dominant car dealership location”.

Preston Farm Industrial Estate is already home to a string of other car dealerships, including Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Kia, Vauxhall, Honda, Audi, and Toyota.

This leaves the future of Stratstone Land Rover Stockton, which fronts the A135 and is located on Concorde Way, uncertain.

The dealership - which was constructed in 1990 - is operated by one of the UK’s largest dealership groups and is let to subsidiary Reg Vardy (Property Management) Ltd.

The 24,780 sq ft (2,302 sq m) property boasts 250 car spaces and currently offers a variety of services, including MOTs, as well as the sale of new and approved-used Land Rovers.

The dealership is regularly praised online for its “great customer service”, with one reviewer saying: “I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff we encountered.
