A County Durham woman has admitted thieving from a shop as she appeared in court.
Stacey Aldworth was arrested last month on suspicion of seven counts of theft from a shop and using abusive language after targeting businesses in Ferryhill and Chilton.
After being charged she appeared before Peterlee Magistrates Court on Friday (August 30) where she pleaded guilty to the theft offences.

The 36-year-old, of Co-operative Street in Shildon, will next appear in court on December 2.
PC Thomas Whitfield said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance following the media appeal and the victims who supported our investigation.
“We will continue to tackle prolific offenders to ensure residents within the community feel safe.”
