Two men have admitted their role in a two-in-one burglary where a car and personal belongings were stolen.
Kevin Warne and Jon Foster stole a Nissan Qashqui after grabbing the keys when they raided a house in Darlington last month.
The pair also admitted stealing a hoverboard, a hoover, trainers and a Wifi router while the family slept upstairs.
The car was subsequently spotted by Durham Constabulary officers in Hundens Lane, Darlington, and a pursuit began when it failed to stop.

The vehicle then crashed into a stationary vehicle before hitting a wall in Haughton Road.
Warne, 33, of Brace Court, Darlington, pleaded guilty to burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, and driving without insurance, when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court.
While 39-year-old Foster, of Aldborough Walk, Darlington, pleaded guilty to burglary, going equipped for burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
The pair were remanded in custody until they are expected to be sentenced on October 28 following the crash in the stolen car.
