A popular North Yorkshire pub has been placed on the market for £300,000.

The Black Bull Inn, in Middleham, is up for sale by estate agents Sidney Phillips Limited.

The pub is in the heart of Middleham which is renowned for its racehorse training centre and nearby castle.

Described as a semi-detached three-storey property, The Black Bull Inn is believed to date from the late 17th century and is made of stone under a pitched slate roof.

Entering from the market square into a cosy bar, the agents say it retains its character with original wooden beams and flooring.
